Fly Fishing

An artificial fly or fly fishing lure is typically used for fly fishing with a fly rod, however they may also be used in other types of fishing. These can include using a float with a spinning rod, or weighted to fish the bottom of the water body. These typically mimic bugs or small fish that would inhabit the area being fished and be appealing to the fish species being targeted.
